Business Development Representative (BDR)
Description
VSA Prospecting, a best-in-class lead generation and appointment-setting firm since 2001, is looking for outgoing, self-motivated individuals with strong telephone communication skills to join our team of Business Development Representatives (BDR). As a BDR, your primary responsibility will be making B2B calls on behalf of multiple companies within a wide range of industries. You will collaborate remotely with VSA Program Managers, fellow BDRs, and other team members to maximize program efficiency. Previous B2B sales experience required.
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to increase to full-time based on performance.
This position is 100% remote and requires a computer, desktop, or laptop and must be wired via ethernet for a reliable internet connection. Must have a minimum internet speed of 25Mbps. Shifts are Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am-5 pm EST.
Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase to full-time based on performance. We are always looking for great talent to join our team. We offer paid training and continuous coaching.
Required Equipment (owned by Applicant):
- Computer (with a minimum of 8GB of RAM and functioning webcam)
- USB Headset with noise cancellation
- Functional internet with a connection speed of at least 25Mbps
- Must have cell phone access
- Windows 10 or 11 required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Using available resources/systems research and providing accurate responses to customers.
- Provide customers with service information/instructions.
- Make notations in the system.
- Update customer/account information.
- Follow up customer calls when necessary.
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.

Experience/Education:
- Previous customer service experience in inbound/outbound, customer service environment (minimum 2 years).
- A telemarketing background is a plus.
- Appointment setting is a plus.
- Experience in completing surveys is a plus.
- Cold calling B2B experience required (minimum 2 years).
- Call center experience is a plus.
- HS Diploma.
- BA/BS is plus.
- Knowledge of call center CRM, telephony, and technology.
- Good data entry and typing skills.
- Understanding customer service/care.
