December 28, 2018 – Haddon Township, N.J. – VSA, Inc. is excited to announce its holiday donation to a very worthy local Philadelphia charity called Beat the Streets. VSA, Inc. is a B2B call center that runs telemarketing, lead generation and appointment setting campaigns for their clients. Beat the Streets runs wrestling and mentoring based youth development programs for underprivileged student-athletes.
“I come from a family of wrestlers – my sons, my brothers, my nephews all wrestled,” remarks Valerie Schlitt, CEO and Co-Founder of VSA, Inc. “What I’ve always loved about the sport is the grit and perseverance that it requires. It’s an important life lesson and one that has served my family well. It brings all of us at VSA great joy to donate to Beat the Streets, knowing those life lessons are being learned by children who need it most.”
VSA is committed to giving back to the communities within which it resides. VSA originated in Haddon Township, NJ and has remained there ever since. For the past 9 years, VSA has donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County as a way to give back to that community and will again this year. Now, however, VSA has a second, and growing, office in Philadelphia.
“I believe strongly in businesses being a vital and contributing member of the communities in which they reside,” continues Ms. Schlitt. “We hire from the community, we volunteer time to organizations in the community, we work for and partner with other businesses in the community, and we give back to the community.”
VSA donates the funds each year around the holidays in lieu of giving client gifts.
“This has so much more meaning,” smiles Ms. Schlitt. “It’s what the holidays are about!”
