Meeting Resolutions with Resolve: How to Stay on Top of your Goals in 2021

Jan 20, 2021 | Appointment Setting, Call Center, Lead Generation, Newsletter, Telesales

There’s something about flipping over the first page of a fresh calendar that makes many of us want to form new habits and set new goals. And it’s not just personal—most businesses set ambitious new sales goals for the new year.

We at VSA are amongst those who strongly feel the pull of the new calendar. Even though we ended 2020 on a high note, we’re committed to staying on the forefront of services we can offer to our clients.

That’s why, in response to client requests, we’ve set several ambitious goals for the year ahead—and would like to share them with you:

More Accurate Lead List Building: The single biggest predictor of a program’s success is having the right list.  To that end, VSA will continue to invest in identifying and compiling the best list-building resources for our clients. Even though we’ve already made so many strides in this area, we know that list building tools are always improving. By combining the latest technology with our constantly-accumulating wisdom about what makes a great lead list, we’re able to focus relentlessly on always supplying the best possible lists—and will continue to do so in 2021.

Finding the Right BDR Fit for Each Program: Our flexible scheduling allows us to assign BDRs (business development reps) to specific programs. This ability to mix and match based on BDR skillsets is already an advantage that no other firm offers; however, we want to strengthen it even further. In addition to ramping up our BDR training, we’re delving into research and analysis to gain further insight into what caller styles and personalities perform best on each of our various types of programs. We plan to improve our means of assigning BDR teams accordingly, so that we have an extra advantage on each program from the get-go and can build momentum with unprecedented speed.

Data Security and Privacy Regulations: VSA is active in the healthcare, education, and financial sectors—all of which are subject to constantly-evolving regulations. Increasingly, we’re asked for documentation on data security and mandated to comply with privacy regulations. Meanwhile, we take our clients’ privacy and security concerns extremely seriously; we strive to always stay ahead of the curve when it comes to compliance, and expect that what’s demanded of us will only increase as new regulations are put in place.

Already HIPAA compliant, for over a year VSA has engaged a compliance consultant to help us meet additional consumer protection and privacy regulations. This is a considerable investment for a firm of our size—but that’s what it takes to continue delivering outstanding support for our clients.

Tech Stack:  Just as we’re always proactive about staying up-to-date on compliance and security, VSA is also committed to staying at the forefront of technology. In 2021, we’ll continue our investment in cutting edge dialing, list management, and CRM systems so that we can reach decision makers even faster and hold even more conversations. This will help us reach ambitious new benchmarks for both quality and quantity—with the right technology, we can both enhance the effectiveness of appointments and set a whole lot more of them.

As far as we’ve come from our humble beginnings two decades ago, we continue to believe that each new year brings new opportunities—there’s always room to grow.

While we’ve always defined ourselves against our competitors by making substantial, well-focused investments in key areas of our business, our goals for 2021 are more ambitious than ever. We know you can work with anyone, which is why we’re committed to staying at the forefront—so you’ll never want to.
